You First Counseling

 It's scary that some occasion are permanent. Today l got my tooth out ( yeap, l got an extraction) and it dawned on me that l will never have it back. It will just be an empty room another tooth won't fill. I saw the tooth and l was like mehnn, it has 2 sharp points and I'm here thinking about the deep hole. ( will it ever be open or will close up?) I know I had a hole in my tooth, it was fun to look at and touch but I didn't know the implication. I wish I did, so last year pains started, mehn it got me wild, angry and couldn't eat or drink hot or cold water. Went to the hospital ( General hospital Minna)and the hole was filled. Happy me, l went living happily ever after. But if happy ever after did exist, I would still have my 36 teeth intact, so l guess it doesn't. The hole opened up- l dont know how but it did. I ignored it, you know l wasn't feeling pains until when the pains came. It was excruciating, disrupt my sleep, my eating, and constant right ear...

I’ve heard marketers use the phrase “No publicity is bad publicity”.  I did agree. what did I know? I was new and still new in the world of marketing. However, it is expected that one day a child will grow up to disapprove of some principles he/she learned as a child. So, this is me saying I don’t totally agree with that phrase. The publicity that rips you off your title takes you back to zero is bad publicity. We all know Desmond Elliot-  maybe in the future some famous brand will endorse him as an ambassador but right now I’m certain no brand would pick him. I know he has followers but in business, he needs more than his followers.  We read about the (cripple lady) who sold sachet water and how she lied her way into people’s hearts and pockets until we all found out her true identity.   Is it safe to take a walk alone without Having 1 million ways of defend myself From hoodlum, Rapist, and Thieves running through my mind. Is it safe to walk alone and   Not be cautious of passer-by’s?  Without scanning the faces of people I sit with in taxies? Is it safe to be all l can be Without thinking about the wrath of haters? Hope one day my blessing be a blessing to others and not a lesson for me. Will it ever be safe to give alms to the needy without first praying on it? Will reprimanding my kids for trusting a stranger ever be a thing of the past? How many words does it really take to create a change? How many songs do we need to sing to be heard? How many sons/daughters do we need to bury? How will our light shine when we live in the dark? Are we ever gonna be safe outside? Insecurity- Epelle Cynthia B

 I'm only human, I'm not perfect. That's the emotional excuse humans give. But are we really imperfect? If we all agree we are imperfect, why do we frown at people who got their body/look via surgery? They are obviously imperfect and want to be perfect. Isn't that what the world wants so what's the problem? You know l use to be among the crowd that chant "No one is perfect" but l left that crowd when l realized Perfection is an Illusion. Perfection is based on individual opinion. Perfection means different things to different people based on their beliefs. Does perfection mean l have to be like the person you want me to be? Does it mean getting all thing right and nothing wrong? Does it mean living my entire life trying to be good enough for everyone (is this even possible)? So 18th May was Avura's birthday and while l was wiping off the dirt on her table caused by the flowers we used to decorate her table l heard someone screaming. Now my first suspension was a movie scene  made Helen and Stella scream but then the scream came again and again. And l was like is stella beating Helen ( I had to clear my suspicions so like someone who has a power of an ant but as brave as an xxx) l stormed out of the room to know why the scream. But to my disbelief it wasn't Helen and stella,  the scream wasn't even coming from the room in which Helen and stella were apparently Helen wasn't getting beaten up. The noise came from the shops outside the building.  And as l approached the window from where l could see the cause for the screaming the scream be became clear. It was a cry for help.
