Having 1 million ways of defend myself

From hoodlum, Rapist, and Thieves running through my mind.

Is it safe to walk alone and

Not be cautious of passer-by’s?

Without scanning the faces of people I sit with in taxies?

Is it safe to be all l can be

Without thinking about the wrath of haters?

Hope one day my blessing be a blessing to others and not a lesson for me.

Will it ever be safe to give alms to the needy without first praying on it?

Will reprimanding my kids for trusting a stranger ever be a thing of the past?

How many words does it really take to create a change?

How many songs do we need to sing to be heard?

How many sons/daughters do we need to bury?

How will our light shine when we live in the dark?

Are we ever gonna be safe outside?

What Happens When we Attach Pain

We know people that are currently in a toxic relationship, you’ve heard them talk about leaving the relationship but they never leave. Maybe they are in for financial benefits? Or perhaps it’s just love? And what about those people that hate their jobs but won’t quit? Why complain when they know what to do? Mental Health is a Priority So I Quit

I recently quit a new job when I had none to fall back on. I have never done that before. I was so excited about the job and the opportunity to learn a new skill since I didn't have experience (cold calling) and I said hey we got this we are going to learn and be the best.
